I got married last Saturday and Kevin was our photographer. Having previously been a bridesmaid where Kevin was the photographer, it was only ever going to be him to photograph mine!!
I cannot recommend him enough if anyone is getting married because he is on another level.
We asked him to capture as many special moments with our nan who has dementia and he delivered us that and beyond.
He is fantastic at making people feel comfortable and great with all the children as well especially my 2 year old who hadn't had a sleep and was completely miserable 🤣 he also has this ability to go un-noticed and capture the most beautiful candid photos capturing really magical moments, going above and beyond, even kneeling in mud and standing in bushes!!
We've had our sneak peak photos and we are so impressed already! Cannot recommend enough!

I chose Kevin James photography after doing quite a bit of research on local photographers online. Kevin was very professional from the first contact until now. Kevin offered a face to face meeting to find out about us and suggested a lot of things we hadn’t even thought about. He was extremely professional on the day and got through all of the planned photos very quickly during the drinks reception and handled extra requests for photos that weren’t on the list. We received a lot of feedback from our guests about how good Kevin was at organising the photos and he does it all with a smile and sense of humour. We got our pictures delivered in the agreed time after the wedding and the quality is very high I have attached 10 of the pictures to this review. These pictures are exactly what we wanted and we will be making an album and printing the best ones for framing.
Golden Wedding Anniversary Sept 2025
Kevin visited to take photos of my parents'50th wedding anniversary family gathering. He delivered a fantastic set of beautiful pictures ahead of schedule and managed to get all the family members on side for various group shots, making everyone feel at ease, including the kids. 10/10.

From start to finish Kevin was seamless throughout our wedding process. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. From our initial meeting we knew that he would be best suited to capture our special day and he more than exceeded our expectations. He was so supportive throughout the planning process, and also excited about the future photos that we were envisioning . It didn’t seem like Kevin was just a supplier we had hired on our wedding day, he felt like a guest that we genuinely wanted there to celebrate with us. All our guests loved him and said how at ease he made them feel whilst taking their photos. When we received our gallery we were just taken right back to our day, they are beyond beautiful and they captured everything we wanted. From the very beginning, Kevin made the whole experience so much fun. We first met him at our favourite pub, and straight away we knew he was the right fit. He listened to all of our ideas, no matter how small, and was so patient in helping us figure out what we wanted. On the wedding day itself, Kevin brought such great energy while keeping things relaxed and natural. He knew exactly when to step in with direction and when to let moments unfold on their own, which meant we got the perfect mix of candid shots and beautifully framed photos. We honestly couldn’t be happier with our choice and would recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a photographer who’s not just talented, but also genuinely fun to have around on such a special day.

We're so glad we booked Kevin to be the photographer for our wedding. We got to meet up with him a couple of times before the wedding, which meant he really got to know us as a couple and was supportive throughout the planning process, which helped us feel at ease on the big day. On the wedding day itself, Kevin was great at capturing the little moments and wrangling guests into position for the big photo moments like the confetti arch! He made our guests feel comfortable and was flexible when plans and timings changed (as they always seem to do at weddings!).
